2017 Year in Review - 12/31/17

December 31, 2017-- Happy New Year!  With all the traveling we've done this year, I still managed to complete a few projects shown below.  Click on the caption of each photo for more details.
2018 promises to be as much fun if not more than 2017 with lots of new projects.  On the agenda are trips to Southern California, Oregon State, Arizona State, ANG Seminar in Washington, DC, a class in February in Maryland (Toni Gerdes' Fire & Ice ), a stitching retreat to Winterthur in Wilmington, Delaware in March, another stitching retreat in Ocean City, MD.   Lots to keep me excited and engaged in this wonderful passion.

    1. Thanks. Hope to actually complete a large project or two this year and to finish others that are already stitched into ornaments and pillows, etc. Lots to keep me very busy, but I love it. PS--love your projects--so beautiful.

  2. Nice to see everything you finished. The American Beauty Rose is fantastic! I didn't finish my rozashi piece yet. It's fun but hard on my hard to pull so taut. Good luck with your 2018 projects and safe travels. Happy New Year!! Melita

    1. The American Beauty Rose was fun to stitch--may do another one some day. Regarding the Rozashi Imari Sampler, I didn't pull my threads tightly at all, not any more so than for regular needlepoint--just made sure my tension was the same (no loose threads on the surface). Wishing you a wonderful New Year too. Looking forward to see what's on your agenda for stitching.
